our story

“Don’t call it a dream; call it a plan.”

7 Arrow was born out of a love of all things creative, wide-open spaces, and family. Entrepreneurship is in our blood. I grew up West River South Dakota on a working cattle ranch with a western artist, Mom, and cowboy Dad. Tyler was born and raised in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. His entrepreneur Dad started and ran a successful Sioux Falls pawnshop, and his Mom owned and managed two downtown Sioux Falls office buildings her Father built in the ’70s.

Life, full-time jobs (marketing for me and engineering for Tyler), and multiple restoration projects got in the way of us starting our dream business. It wasn’t until our nephew Riley was born that we decided it was time for a change. To not only be closer to our families, but to finally actualize our dream. So, we found a buyer for our 1965 ranch house, bought a beautiful 1904 Shingle Style Arts & Crafts fixer-upper in Yankton, South Dakota, and have moved it to our land outside of Springfield, South Dakota. We’ve been working diligently on the house and invite you to follow our progress at https://www.facebook.com/7arrowco.

Why 7 Arrow? The name is derived from the seven elements of design and an old familiar object, the arrow, a symbol for moving forward, and direction. With a name like that, we couldn’t offer just one service or amenity, so 7 Arrow provides an eclectic mix, encapsulating each of our skills and passions. Whether you need event planning, interior or grapic design, or marketing assistance for your business, we’re here to help!
